Still no new pics - I had an issue where the three fish in QT (tangs) died. I had forgotten to plug the HOB filter / pump back in after feeding at night. 10 hrs later and all three were on the bottom of the tank flat and done. Probably a side effect of the medication being oxygen depleting.

Well, I thought they all died but I saw the purple tang take a breath just as I was going to put him in the trash. I put him into a bucket with an air stone for giggles and within 4 hours he was happy again.

He went through some rough patches since, but I think I have him stable. I think there was some Velet to deal with.

I almost did the same thing when i first set my QT up, try using a feeding ring, or a veggie clip then you dont have to kill the filter

yea - now I think I will just keep an air stone in the tank as a precaution.

Lol - that reminds me - I need to clean it!!

really, I have not had enough in the tank to give it a work over. So, I haven't even looked at it in 6 weeks. Could be interesting by now.

Maintenance wise, it is a bit more work to clean than a skimmer. But, I trust the builder a lot, and I have faith that the product will do its job - especially seeing that this isn't the first revision...

The darn tang looks great, but hasn't eaten in 6 days or so. Not sure what to do. He ate great before I almost murdered him. Looking to get some garlic extreme or something to entice eating.
