Just got back from a Chicago trip. While there on business I took the time to go to downtown Chicago and I have to say that my visit to the Shedd Aquarium was a nice adventure. It got me out of the cold windy city. I must say that I have never seen so many corals and fish in one place. I would recomend the Shedd Aquarium to anyone if you ever visit Chicago. It is located just on Lake Michigan. A nice view of the lake and city from inside the aquarium. So you say you can't travel that far then visit them at www.sheddaquarium.org

My wife and I have been as well. We REALLY enjoyed it. That was a couple years ago, before I was into saltwater fish tanks, so I don't remember how their reef stuff was...
