Shellless Astrea Snail?

I have a 12g Nanocube and have 10 Astrea snails. Last night I saw what looks like a snail on my glass that is without a shell. I was able to find 9 of the snails, so my asumption is that this is an Astrea without its shell, but I can't find any information on if an Astrea snail can live without its shell.

sidenote: I did add 2 lbs of LR 3 days ago, so this could be some sort fo sea-slug that hitchhiked on that.

Can an Astrea Snail lose its shell?

Most molluscs canÃ"šÃ‚´t be removed from their shells and still live. IÃ"šÃ‚´m sure you have a hitchhiker there.

Thanks for replying Leslie. I will try to get a good look at this thing tonight and get some pictures.

After taking pictures of it and looking online, I believe it is infact a Stomatella Snails (Stomatella varia)

Thanks for the help Leslie.
