Shipping charge question

Good evening!

I just placed an order for a Gold Maxima clam and a couple of corals. At checkout, it listed them as two separate orders with two separate shipping charges (34.99 and 14.99). (Order #'s A2585352 and A2585353)

When I received my confirmation email, it appeared as if they were shipping from the same location in Wisconsin.

I'm just curious as to why I am being charged the additional 14.99. It may be that there was some fine print that I did not read!

Thanks for any light that you can shed.

Conesus_Kid,

Thank you for your inquiry and order with Live Aquaria. The reason there are two separate shipping fees is because the Gold Maxima Clam ships from our facility in California. The Chips Acropora and the Pink Birdsnest corals ship from our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility in Wisconsin. When a split order is placed there is an additional packaging fee of $14.99. A further explanation of our shipping charges can be found at the link below.
