Shipping costs for website orders

After some great feedback in regards to pricing of shipping for orders on www.ghl-direct.com we have now implemented a lower cost shipping option for you.

However it proved far too difficult to put in place an option for small items, those bits that weigh less than 250grammes or items less than $50

So we have put some things in place with two dealers www.progressivereef.com contact them and asked them to take telephone orders for any item that gives you trouble with shipping costs, taking the above as an example.

The advise is, if your order is less than $50 please telephone progressive reef for immediate shipping and they will take your order on the phone and implement the cheapest route possible for your order.

To have orders shipped within the USA contact Ottawa Inverts and they can ship anything from with the USA ONCE a week only, so you can contact them also through www.ottawainverts.com

I hope that smooths out all issues for everyone and shows we do listen! :)

yes, just contact the dealer you ordered through and let them know what you want they can then sort this for you.

If you just order the extras without contact the site will charge you seperate shipping so it is important to drop them a line first.

Who is your shipping company???

Who is your shipping company???

I like the service and trackability of UPS! They are the only ones that I trust for shipping within the US and outside it.

Have you give them a try?

UPS is horible on charge, they charge you a arm and leg to do the paperwork on import and exports...

And now I will clear that up.

WE HAVE ALL DUTY AND BROKERAGE CHARGED BACK TO US.

THE CLIENT PAYS SHIPPING ONLY.
:wavehand:

This means the service you get is no different than shipping domestic.

Wow...

Wow...

I haven't heard that before. My dealers were using something called "paperless Invoices" to make it easier. It was all done online. I guess so customs can send the shipment through quicker without delays. Especially if they are LIVE!

Who do you use?

Paperless is called EDI

At present only UPS offer this on all services and my account is linked to EDI.

However EDI does not give you free brokerage or duty, it just eliminates the need to slap 3 pieces of paper in an envelope..

By offering all our clients free duty and brokerage everyone can feel safe in the knowledge they will not receive any hidden charges. As I said, just like ordering from within the USA
