Shipping from Japan

I hear some of the nicer fish go to Japan before U.S. I have a nephew in the Marine Corp that is getting ready to get shipped out to Japan for a couple of years, and was wondering if he could locate me some nice fish and have them shipped to me here in c.a. Is that legal?

you can file a one time import permit. usually pretty cheap (less than 100$).. but if he is in the military, he can take them on the plane if he comes back any time soon... Military can take pretty much anything back from anywhere... lol
