Shipping Halimeda

I've had a fairly healthy population of halimeda in my tank (among a few other macro algaes that came in on my rock
) for the last six months and now have enough to start getting rid of. I have plants both in my rockwork and in the sand. What would be the best way to ship halimeda... should I only sell the ones in the sandbed or is it ok to rip them off the rocks as well? Also... what's the going rate for halimeda these days? heh heh...

I've had good luck with people shipping it to me in small fish bags, enough water to totally cover the macro, a little bit of air. Double bag for leaks, pad with newspaper, line the ship box with a grocery bag in case both bags burst. Most macro ships very well in two-three day transit times, though they do not like really hot weather.

I think the best clippings I had were freshly cut from established plants, whole plants that were grown in the sandbed didnt seem to do quite as well. However, that might be just me. I cant seem to maintain Halimeda long term (two months or more).
