Shipping live rock and fish?

I was just wondering how shipping these things is this time of year? With the cold?
I’m getting in some TBS live rock on cargo in a week.

I see it’s insulated but what’s everyone’s thought on fish and or Live rock this time of year being shopped?

I've ordered livestock year round over the years with very few issues. Most reputable retailers will ship items in styrofoam lined boxes and will usually include 24 hour heat packs in the winter. I would not use a seller that wants to ship anything less than overnight this time of year.

I’m with @griss for most reputable sellers there won’t be an issue. My understanding for TBS @liverock is they ship in a sealed bucket with water that’s then placed in an insulated box. That being said, I can’t say I’ve heard anything bad about TBS’s shipping procedures. One thing to note, it is “winter rock” so you may not see certain life on the rock that normally shows in the summer, but should still have plenty of critters to keep one busy 🙂
