Shipping reef fish internationally

Which shipping airline would you trust the most to ship reef fish internationally?

Depends from where to where. Lufthansa has a lot of experience with fish - they even have special blankets for boxes shipped during the winter.

I'd say the key is not to TRUST any of them - make sure the fish are properly packed and so they can handle normal delays, make sure the paperwork is in order, avoid transfer flights, etc.

When I had fish shipped over from Japan I left it the hands of the supplier to use who they felt was the best carrier to get them to Hawaii for transfer. The key I feel is to work with reliable and reputable suppliers so you don't get burned. It is a little nerve racking though, hoping everyone does what they are supposed to do.
