So much has been said about Xenia not shipping well, well I always questioned this issue as overnight shipping prices are are always so high @$35+
My conclusions:
If you ship Xenia via cut off heads, then yes the Xenia will release toxins in the bag of water and die within hours.
If you ship Xenia with base still attached (on plug, rock rubble, etc). Then Xenia will survive a few days -- between 1 and 4 -- given temperatures are not freezing and not hot. You can use US Postal Priority Express at $5 East to West coast.
Best way to ship Xenia, whole piece like I mentioned attached to a styrofoam, upside down in water. So that the Xenia is not banged up against the walls of the bag and filled with water so that the Xenia will not run dry.
Your $10 Xenia frag can be shipped US Priority Mail at $5 bucks and make it alive from coast to coast. Ship only on Monday of course.
