Shipping zoas

The best way is to ship them overnight.
Seriously, if you spend $15 for 2 day and the corals get there dead, then you'll not only have to ship them again and pay another $15, but you'll also take a loss on the corals you're growing. It'll be a lose lose.

You can chance it, but if you can swing the extra cash, send it overnight. With 2 day, I would not give any guarantee.;)

Find yourself a long-lasting heat pack. I picked up some 60 hour jobs from ebay. Pack them in a little bit of water and a wad of wet paper towels. Will be good for two days, often great for three.

The heat packs are about a dollar. Zoanthids are tough and overnight shipping is not justified unless shipping lots of money's worth, IMO.

Thanks for all the advice.
I just ordered some of the 60 hour Uniheat shipping warmers from ebay.
Thanks again for all the advice

agree with snowreefer.best thing i read so far and i had posted on one of my threads and from some experience, take a cheap thermos, from like the dollar store or something, get some heat packs if its cold out and there u go.im not sure if the heat packs go inside the thermo or outside.but what i would do is take the heat packs and ducktape them to the thermos.oh yeah and stick a damp paper towel with inside the thermos to with the zoas.dont worry about filling it with water just a damp paper towel will work.
