Shoaling Fish

My chromis school together but as far as fish go they are very low on the "cool" factor and lack personality. Chromis will slowly die off, or get picked off. I started a year and 2 months ago with 25, now I have 10 and have had that number for close to a yr. fish that school do that for protection, after some time in your tank they will become comfortable and stop schooling together anyway

I've always had die off with Chromis too... Always thought I was doing something wrong but I guess they just aren't as hardy as I've been told.

How long have these fish been together?

I have had them for 3 months
I know they are difficult. I feed a mixture of coral vibrance, rod's fish eggs, and cyclop-eeze. While They are typically on one side of the tank, they are eating and seem good so far.

Chromis do that. Takes a while, but they always seem to dwindle.

I have had a trio of blue-green chromis for over a year. No issues whatsoever. Very active and typically hang together. Seems to be the minority though from what I have read although they do have plenty of room in a 280g.
