Shop & Swap recommendations from surrounding areas?

Anyone attended reef meetings/swaps from the surrounding areas or hit any reef shops worthy of mentioning?


I hope to make it to a CORA swap sometime this year. I checked their site for dates and only found the All-Ohio Swap which I believe is in Cleveland. In Ohio I'd rather not travel any further than Columbus or Cincinnati. Last time I was in Columbus I made a stop at Reef Systems. The guy has a grow out system in a green house. Tons of stuff and the prices were reasonable. I definetely recommend and I look forward to my next trip, I just hope I have more money next time

I heard that Blacksburg, VA had a nice shop, but that was a few years ago. I haven't seen much from the guys in Princeton either.

CORAs big swap is usually in Sept/Oct. Phishy's is a must see in Columbus. I haven't been to his new store...yet but I have an order coming Tuesday from his Caribbean shop :bounce1::bounce1::bounce1:

I make trips periodically to Lexington and I'd still like to get some recommendations for any shops in that area. As large of a city it is, hard to believe they don't have their own Phishy or equivalent. Maybe that is my calling...

What about Knoxville TN? Any large swaps or must see stores in the area that you guys know about? My sister is moving to Knoxville from Roanoke.

'Aquarium' in Knoxville is nice. Was in there several years ago.
