shoplifting fish @ LFS

Was talking to owner of a LFS at the shop today. Told me a UNI student got him for almost $300 in fish over the last month. Guy would come in with a big gulp cup full of saltwater. When no one was looking he would put the fish in the cup & walk out. LFS was way nicer then I would have been. Told the guy dont come back anymore instead of arresting him. The response was classic. "But where am I going to buy my RO water?". And people wonder why LFS has to charge what they do.

which store was it from. I gues if it was anyone around here it would have had to come from the Emporium. Not hard to imagine though. Ive been in there plenty of times and have not had anyone near the fish stuff. Ive walked out plenty of times and wondered if anyone was even working.

yeah that happened down in KC but instead of fish they got 4 4"+ crocea clams....

I can't even catch most fish with a huge net, the lights out, and a stick of dynamite. He may be a dirtbag, but good job on the catch!
