You guys should check out JawsII in Elmsford, right near the Tappanzee bridge and Tarrytown, he always has a decent selection of both Corals and Fish.

You wouldnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t happen to have a phone number or an address for this place would you?

OK, here we go:
reef and fin -- I buy mostly from them Angelo is a nice guy. He is the new owner since last summer. I use to deal with Chris the previous owner. I bought is 280 show tank from his old store in the center of town in Stamford before he moved into the current location. They have a good selection, but seem to be struggling a bit with the husbandry end of the business.

As for JawsII--- Louis is quite a character, and has done some time in the old think tank (I think for tax evasion). Every time that I have been at his shop, he is always talking about new stuff on the market, and loves to say certian techniques are "old school". He has plenty of fish, softies, and brain corals but not much in hard corals. I think he sells montiproa though..

Flavorflave,
funny right? -- I know my demons, it is glass all t he way for me.

Actually, I do tooling, injection molding, and assembly for the the point of purchase industry. Mostly cosmetic displays. The kind of displays your wife or girlfriend goes to when they buy makeup or perfumes. As long as there are women in this world, the cosmetic companies will be trying to sell them new stuff --- that's where I come into the picture.

Angelo is a good pretty good guy, never met chris, heard great things about him. also heard the sale got pretty ugly.

Louis is a character like you say, and just started to get in to the stonies (within the last two months)as far as the think tank, I'm sure another visit is comming with all the cash (no tax) deals hes got going on.

Is that a glasscage??

240-Reefer,
I was told by Chris that it was built by inter-america when I bought it.

ChrisRD,
been there -- I only saw (1) tank with hard corals, when I was there, there were only a few to choose from -- what ever they had did not have much color.

I guess there are just a bunch of small shops in the area, but I wish there was one place that really had a broad selection every day.
