Short and sweet, my 24 gallon nano

Amanda,
Yes I do work at WBH. I am a nurse in the surgical ICU. Have you seen that Preuss's is opening a 20,000 square foot store in Lansing this spring? I believe I went there because you mentioned it in a previous thread. I could be wrong though. They have been awaiting a shipment of the aquaod for quite some time ,I called againyesterday and they said any day now. I just want to see one. I just cannot decide between the pod or cube.I also cannot decide if I should get the black sand or not yet. It is a lot of work to go through if I don't like it. I don't think I really like the salt and peper look of the Indopacific sand. Are there any kinds of vacuums to clean the white particles other than the siphons? I am not a DIY girl and just want my nemo, goby and a couple simple corals.
Sharon

Sharon, I didn't know Preuss was building their own place!!!! They told me like over a year ago they were moving, but I figured it would have happened already!!! I can't wait to see the new place!!!

I like my cube, I don't know anything about th epod, but I can tell you, I like my cube. I didn't like th elook of salt and pepper either, and no, there is no way to vacuum up the white pieces without sucking up a ton of black sand as well. That is why I went with white this time.

I'll be surprised if all you end up in th etank is Nemo, goby and some simple corals. You are already addicted like the rest of us and before you know it, you'll be upgrading your lighting like everyone else so you can get some nicer corals!!

Man, I'm broke!

Amanda

I got my new corals today and I'm pleased! They are all very healthy looking and fit perfectly into the tank. Here are some pics...

I'm still having an issue with my hammer coming out. I don't know what's wrong, the torch is out just fine! Also, my lobo doesn't look good, and I don't know why. I think it might just be adjusting to the light. Everything else is doing fantastic!

Amanda

SWEET! :D Lookin great!!!

Don't worry about the LPS - as long as no one is picking on them (I don't see anyone in your tank who could), and they aren't being blasted by the light, they should recover with ease.

Now all you need are some blastos! ;)

Thanks Kayla, I am worried about the lobo and hammer, but noone is picking on them and my water is pristine.

Now, what I would like to add is....

Bright red blastos
ricordea(all colors)
small sun coral
another clam(maybe)
more acro

My tank is 2 weeks old today!!!!!! I can't remember, how much longer until corraline starts?
Oh, I got my new digital thermometer today, an alarm sounds if it gets too hot or too cold, I love it! It tells me the temp of the room air and the water temp.

What else should I get? I want a bright yellow something, NO LEATHERS though.

Amanda

Looking SWEET !!!!!!!!! Love the different colors :)

Which epoxy do you use? Also do you do the 2 part. Super glue gel and epoxy?

Looking good Amanda,if u keep ur RBTA happy it will not move, i would move the caps toward the bottom cuz they are going to cast a shadow as they start to grow out
:)

Thanks steve, actually, I plan to keep them trim and my light fixture slides front to back, so I can always adjust the lighting as well! I just love caps!!!

Looking grat Amanda! Like the new additions.

Try hiding the lobo a little.... the MH may be too bright for it. Is the hammer or lobo accepting foods?

I don't see any zoos on ur list!

Hey Jordo! I want zoos, but they are all attached to huge pieces of rock! I need, just zoos LOL

Neither are accepting food, I dont' get it. Everything else is pigging out!

Here is a good picture... Does everyone remember this sweet tank. That Gigas you had is just to sweet, have you heard from who has your Gigas, or have they sent you and pictures of your old Gigas.
