Ya, I know, but I love xenia!
Ditto that - I take at least 100 pics at a time, and usually only 5 or 6 meet my standards of adequacy. I also use Photoshop for touch ups, which often makes a significant improvement. IMO, it's your exposure level and shutter speed that would make the difference. Try increasing the latter--you might get some good results.Originally posted by rjwilson37
How many pictures do you take of the same shot Amanda, I took about 75-100 pictures today and kept 3. I take a minimum of about 10 to 20 of each thing I am trying to get a picture of, but a lot of the time I take 20-30 of that one thing. I use different settings in the exposure compensation between -1.5 to -2.0 and then pick the best ones to keep. I sometimes take about 75-100 pictures and I don't keep any and just do it over again.
RJ, I use flash on almost all of my fish pics (above shot was taken with flash). Provided you get the right angle, the pic usually comes out more crisp. However, corals are a different story; the flash tends to wash out their colors, and therefore I almost never use flash when they are the focus of the shot. JMHO, though.Originally posted by rjwilson37
You should never use your flash for pictures, using flash is a no-no for any photographer.
