Does anyone know of any short-length T5 ballasts?
I am trying to power two 48" 54W T5HO bulbs, but I only have around 9.5" of length with which to work.
Almost all T5HO ballasts that I find are in the 11" to 18" range.
The only short-length ballasts I have found are the Workhorse 5 and the Hagen Glo ballasts.
I would rather steer away from the Workhorse ballasts, since they are instant-start instead of programmed-start. (Although, we don't use these lamps in a frequent-start application, so this probably makes little difference.)
As for the Hagen Glo ballasts, I can only find minimal information about them. I don't know if they are instant, rapid, or programmed-start.
I wish I could go with the Ice Cap ballasts, but they too long.
