I have an orange short tentacle fungia plate thats about 3" in diameter. I feed him spirinula enriched brine about twice a week. Im wondering if it can over eat? Normally i use a syringe and just squirt some on and it eats a few and lets the rest float away. Last night however, when i fed it, it didnt let any go and ate a ball of brine shrimp about half the size of the plate. It had to be at least 15 or more shrimp. It opened its mouth very wide, sucked them all in, and closed up around them. Needless to say it was quite puffed up around the mouth for the remainder of the evening. Today, when i got home from work, it looked bigger and better than ive ever seen. Its tentacles were stretched out pretty good swaying in the current and its body was stretched out as far as it could be. After seeing how good it looked today, i feel inclined to give it a big helping each time i feed going forward, but before doing so i wanted to come here and ask for advice. Are there any possible ill effects to it "over eating" or can it over eat at all? Is there a recommended amount of food that should be given to plate coral and or a frequency for how often i should target feed? Thanks in advance- Greg
