So last night i went to bed and had ONE GBTA, I woke up this morning with two, and i got home today at 5, and i had THREE.... So it ate a silverside Sunday I believe. Anyways all my parameters are in check, so that shouldn't be problem.. Anyways is there anything I can do to help it recover? they are all attached to rocks, two of them are completely hiding, and one i still in open water. All of them have their tentacles extended decently. I know i won't be able to feed for a while but like i said is there anything i can do?

BTA can do some unusual things. I have 2 small RBTA that never gets very big and still splits (like 4 splits in 2 years and it did the same thing for the previous owner). But a friend has a huge RBTA and it has never split in 6 years.

It's possible also that it wasn't two separate splits (split, then one of the clones split again). I had one GBTA that actually more often than not split into three pieces instead of in half after getting to roughly dinner plate size. I can't say it's overly common, but it can happen. One of the clones may have been hiding and you didn't see it.

As long as it's an established tank, healthy, and you've had the BTA(s) for a while, there likely isn't a huge cause for concern. A double check on parameters again however wouldn't hurt.

my Obta Has never split, I had it almost 3 years now.
Its around 10".

I wish it would split so i can make some $$ off it :)
