I have a new no stripe clown from ORA that I picked up saturday, yesterday morning (sunday) I noticed white spots all over the fish. Concerned as I had to leave town for the day I gave him a freshwater dip. When I returned home he seemed to be fine and was swimming around with the other clown. I believe that this may have been stress induced as the two clowns had been chasing each other around since quite a bit. They have seemed to become buddies since though. This morning he has been spending alot of time on the bottom of the tank, breathing what seems to be a little harder than usual, or at least harder than he should be. He also has a little bit of white "slime" on him. I blew him off with a turkey baster and it seemed to take care of a little but the photos below are after I did that.
I just want to see what everyone thinks so far. The other fish in the tank are doing great and seem to be trying to encourage him. The reason I didn't QT him is that I don't really have the room for it at the moment as I my sump is now where my qt tank was. Should I just keep feeding him zoe, garlic and selcon enriched foods and keep an eye on him or should I take him out and treat?
Thanks!
Adam
