Should I buy Invertebrate Food ?

Should I buy Invertebrate Food which I think are plankton or can inverts live from stuff in the water, pellets,etc...?

This depends on what you are feeding (the inverts). Also on how much other types of foods are being added to the system.

My assumption would be that he understands that. The OP likely would have asked about food for corals if that was what he meant rather than asking about adding a food for all inverts in the tank. This would be a very diverse food indeed.

Obviously the ops question is pretty vague.

Go to the massive file collection called SETTING UP and go through it---it will save you a lot of questions. To your current one, just feed a variety from flake to pellet to frozen mysis (not brine shrimp) and Formula One and such: I grind up jumbo dried krill into a powder which everything seems to like.
