Should I buy this balanophyllia

Its been at a LFS for 8-9 weeks under very strong lights. They said no one really asks about it. They said they dont see it open ever. I counted 23 heads, there may be a few more. Could I train it to open in my tank during the day with direct food & in the shade. Is it worth $225, roughly $10 per head?

If they've never seen it open, I would not pay what they are asking for it.

They said none of his customers must not interested in these types of corals. I talked him down to $150. They have seen it open at night just not during the day under high intensity MH lighting. I mis spoke earlier.

I would never pay more than $60 for a coral, but stores usually sell balano's for $30 per head so $150 certainly is a good deal.
