Should I buy this hippo tang?

My lfs has a 1 1/2" regal tang which has no visual signs of ich except for that it is scratching itself every minuete. I have a QT and can frsh H2O dip it, but I am interested in others experiences.

The scratching is a pretty big sign of ich. There's a good chance it is in the gills. Also, they get big so, in the long term, a 75g won't suffice.

Yeah, they get big fast.

Freshwater dip does nothing to cure the ich. QT with hypo or copper or tank transfer method are the only proven and documented ways to kill ich.

hippo tangs are the worst for ick..i luv them but gave up on them awhile back.
