should i buy this?

72" long by 24 " high and about 20" deep.
165 gallons

i wanted to keep fish, and hard and soft corals.
not really into clams.

If you're wanting to keep hard corals in there, I'd be willing to bet that you'll eventually go to MH lighting anyway, so might as well start with that. That's my .02 anyway. :)

it's acrylic and i need to use the hood to keep my cats out.
so for now anyway... acyrlic is out.
and i think i just figured out that it's 180g... instead of 165.
i need to remeasure when i get home.

sorry, to clarify:

i'm told the MH will melt acyrlic.

If you lay it on the acrylic it will melt it but 6+ inches is fine unless you go with 400 or 1000 watters.
