Should I cut My Losses on This Pocillopora

This is one of my favorites and it's a big piece. My lemon goby started going after it. I moved it to a place he never goes and I cover it at night with a fish net. He had hit it pretty good and the loss of polyps seems to be spreading upward. Should I lop off the tops and reattach to plugs? Or should I leave it and hope that it will recover? The very top is ok....so far. :angryfire:

I would lop off that upper left side and make two frags of that side. The rest I would leave alone and see if you can nurse it back. But no one can tell you what is gonna happen.
