Should I get a radion pro ?

Good idea. My big concern is I need my gen1 light running. I know they can send me a rebuilt pro while I keep my gen1, but I hope they don't send me a beat up one, cause my gen 1 is in awesome shape.

I think your referring to the loaner program for the pro upgrade. They will send you a loaner, but I believe they charge your cc for the full price of the light and refund upon return (minus the cost of the upgrade). I cant imagine the whole process taking anymore than 3 weeks to a month.

Check out the instructional video on the Pro upgrade. It looks very simple and you would not have to screw around with a loaner.

Radians wouldn't work with my tank due to my large pillars blocking too much light and causing major shadows. My t5 lit the whole tank up nicely so I'm staying with the t5's and going to supplement with some LED strips.

I have seen it on their site in the past, but I just looked and could not find it. I would call Ecotech if you are looking to upgrade.

The upgrade is in fact available on our site if you decide to go that route. If your 75G is 4' in length, you'll definitely want two (2) Radion fixtures, whether G2 or Pro. Good luck! :thumbsup:

My tank Dims are 30"wide x 24"x 20" deep.....
Can I run one pro perpendicular to tank in center....
Also...can I purchase the LED Pro kit and install myself ??

they dont just sell the clusters you either have to send it in or they send you a different light and then you send yours back

I just finished having my G1 units upgraded to the PRO's. Im very glad I did the upgrade. Units much brighter and more color! plus it doesn't hurt having the newest unit offered by Ecotech

I upgraded to the Tir lenses on my gen1 and still not there yet. Shadows.. but if I stick to gen1 I'll def need 2 of them.

Well, I decided that I'm going to upgrade my existing Gen1 with tir to a pro...
Lets hope its worth the upgrade...
Whats a good light schedule that someone can share with me.?
