Should I Lugol's dip zoas after fragging?

Hi, I am going to be fragging a bunch of my zoas today and have heard that doing a Lugol's or any other kind of dip after fragging will aid in the healing process, any thoughts on it? And if I do, how many drops per gallon, freshwater or tank water, and for how long? TIA!

Yes, Lugol's has medicinal properties which will help aid the recovery. 1 drop in a dedicated half gallon size bowl filled with tank water is all you need. Lugol's is highly concentrated so a quick bath of a minute or 2 is fine. There are also many other commercial coral dips you can use. Maybe someone else can recommend one.

If you are not cutting the cuticle/flesh of these polyps, and just removing polyps from a large rock, there is no need to dip them with Lugols.

They are colonies that have been in my tank for awhile, not new ones. I will be cutting through flesh on some of them, and I have done it before with relatively good success without dipping, but anything to aid in the healing process would be a good thing, hence my question. Once again, thank you!

I am a firm believer however, if it ain't broke, don't fix it or change it. If you have had great success without dipping, then don't deviate from that. Your call though, good luck.
