Should I remove coraline algae?

It makes a great background scape, no unsightly cords, hoses & or skimmer/filter housing to see, I keep 3 sides clean & clear, be careful around your seals though, razor blades & scrapers plow right through silicone.

The back wall of my tank is painted black. No worries cords and such.

If you don't like the way it looks, I'd say get rid of it. I don't bother scraping it off the back wall since getting back there is a pain for me. Oddly enough, the glass seems to be its least favorite place to grow right now.

I keep it, its a mission to keep off the sides and front. I can't imagine goin to my back wall and scraping down all that coralline.
