I bought a PB Tang and he got ich. Eveyone died in days except my Blue velvet and engineer goby. I have been ready so much on here. Im thinking of fawning my tank foe 8 weeks. Now I'm thinking of moving the velvet and engineer goby to a quarantine tank while fawning. I was going to put 15 gal. If Dt water and some live rock in a 20 gal until I decide how I'm going to treat. I need them in there long enough for my DT to fawn. Should i wait to treat after a month or can I treat and leave them in the 20 quarantine for 8+ weeks to fawn. This os my first post so bare with me. Ive been reading for a couple of years so this is where I'm getting my info.

Yes, yes and if you really trust the person who had the fish before you...YES. Quarantine every fish.

If your DT had Ick, 72 days min fallow, and any surviving fish need to be treated for Ick in a QT tank

I QT every fish A minimum of 45 days
3 days to get use to QT tank
14 days of prazipro
28 days cupermine

But if your fish died so quick I dont think its Ick,

If the fish looks good after that into the DT
If it dosnt look good
100% water change in QT
observe for at least 7 days-
then treat what ever needs to be treated
