These choices are the winner as far as I'm concerned. That Wolf Eel could give me nightmares.

I'd like to have one though, they look neat. Just scary.

Jawfish need a deep sand bed to build their home. They are also known to jump out of the tank. The dusky jawfish is not rare but you don't see them in pet stores that often. I just sold mine to someone local. I think they are cute.

Not my fish, actually not even a reef fish but an example of a species found in deeper waters off the New England coast. Certainly warrants inclusion here though.

Of all the fish, I think that squirrel fish are the ugliest things I have seen.

Frogfish, lawnmower blennies, scorpionfish, lookdowns, squirrelfish and cardinals are all somewhat unattractive IME, though some are so ugly they're cute. To me, PJ cardinals look like they're made from leftover scraps of material
