Show me your Aqua Delight

Looks a lot like a pearlberry. Can't wait 'til my pearlberry recover from its crash. color slowly creeping back up again.

Here is mine under T5's.
The top down is the way to view this coral as a straight on shot does NOT do it justice in my opinion.

Gorgeous coral Greg and is one of my TRUE Fav's.:)

I got mine from a reputable vendor at Macna two years ago and its been fragged over 15 times since. I bought it as a single stalk frag too!
It survived a tank crash and was almost pure white!!!! What a recovery.

Here is what left of mine after the crash!

Well actually the surviving piece was much bigger. I had a reefer keep it for me since I didn't want to loose it because of the tank crash. Naturally he shave the larger piece off and gave me back the small base. :)

was going to say its very similar to pearlberry... but some of you beat me to it.
Nice looking stuff, either way.

Looks like you piece will make iamthereefguy. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

ORA Pearlberry is nice. I want to get a piece to compare.

I have the Pearlberry and the Aqua Delight.. Just so you all know it looks nothing like the Pearlberry in person.
They are no way the same coral.

Aquadelight

GSM, both pictures were taken under different light. Pearlberry was taken under a very heavy actinic lighting. Take both under the same lighting. That's a better to compare.

Well, doesn't matter really. I understand they're different and I agree that they're different. Just look similar to each other as macro shots. But their growth patter are very different.

heres mine early this year (top down)

and then a couple months ago after I moved my tank...lost some color but its bounced back nicely.

It definitely likes light and when its happy gets a nice rosey/purpley tip.

no it wasnt it was taken directly below a 250W Radium, it looks like that in person, ive seen the coral.

and i had an aquadelight in my old tank direct from Greg Hiller and it was nothing like the pearlberry.

they are both delicate skinned.

That pic of the AD that GSMguy is refering to is mine. I also have the pearlberry, although it is not very big, they are different.

I also have both the pearl berry and the AD and I can tell you for sure that they are not even close.
