Show me your blue S. Haddonis

That blue looks amazimg, been looking for something like that for a while...very scarce around here to find something like that and healthy to boot.

Blue is not often here too. Like I just said this blue haddoni is the first 1 in the last 2 years :(

Actually I want a smaller 1 , but if I give up on this 1 I need to wait for a long time again. And this 1 is looking very healthy and the blue color is very nice. A lot of blue haddoni don't have this nice blue color

The lfs send more pics to me today of the haddoni. Does the foot looks good ?

It is 12" big and would be probably bigger when fully acclimate to the tank

The foot seem to look OK but it is hard to tell unless he is expanded. What happen there is the photographer just detached the Haddoni and tank the picture right away. All contracted like that it is hard to see wound. He looks OK and healthy. If needed you antibiotic. Minor wound should heal without problem. My Haddoni got chew-up by PH and heal well without problem.

Regarding your earlier question, I feed my anemone sometime, but not all the time unless I want them to grow.

....I have feed mine just 3 times in these few months and it is growing very fast. Mine grey green was 7" and is now 10"....
What you see there is not growth but as your anemone settle into your tank, he will expand to his normal size (takes a month or two) then a little growth with it with feeding. I imagine that the majority of the increase from 7-10 inches is due to your anemone get settle into your tank. An increase of 7 to 10 inches is a double in surface area, your anemone grow by 100% in term of surface area increase.

So that mean that this 1 is 12" and after fully acclimated it will be around 14" ?

If I was wanting it, I would rather the store not peel it to upset the foot anymore than needed, just for a picture. But, I think it looks pretty good anyways. I'd give it a shot, I think it looks pretty good too, considering where it is. Maybe a few extra dollars to keep it in the tray and use that to acclimate it to your tank water and lights for the first week? If not, just return it to the LFS after it's acclimated and relocated?

I am still thinking about it if i should buy it or not. He will keep it for me till friday. 14" after fully acclimated is pretty big. I was actually looking for a blue 1 around 8-10 inch. Blue haddonis are very rare here in HK and if i pass on this 1 i don't know when they will have 1 again. I am so desperate now. I don't know what i should do.

Ok, I finally took a decision and I will not buy the blue haddoni. The nem will be 14+ inches when fully inflated and I think it's too big. I know it will fit in my tank , but for how long. I want to keep it for a long time. I will wait for a smaller ( will need to wait for a long time again) , but at least I will know it will have more space and more happier.

I think I have made the right decision. ( Hope the owner will not be mad at me for thinking so many days and not even buying it)

What do you guys think? Did I made the right decision?

I am sorry that you did not get him. He is/was a really nice anemone. My blue does not always looking as nice as he is now. This was when I first got him
