Hey, what are the t5 fixtures are you using? Look like the sunblaster but the reflectors are different.
Same company as sunblaster but those are called sunblaze. Reflectors are a little more clean looking than the blasters.

Smart choice...

Not sure if heat or excessive light from window next to it is an issue..

but I thought I'd ask if you considering getting the window professionally tinted..doesn't need to be dark at all...there are many brands...huper optik is very good. but anyone who does homes can install something great...it would reduce glare, brightness depending on tint level, and offer uv protection, furniture and interior items are supposed to last longer if your windows are tinted...

may not be necessary...i think window tinting is a great upgrade for any home...regardless if an aquarium is near..

great build!

My old 75 was next to a window. It would get full sun for a few hrs in the morning and everything loved it!! I wish we had more direct sunlight here in the Pacific Northwest so I could light my tank with solar tubes.

The light hasnt been an issue as the tank is in the corner. The only part of it that may get some sunlight is the glass.

Not only is the sump amazing, I love how you trimmed out the ceiling.

Question. In the last photo there's a ball valve in the foreground that looks like it's running under the bottom of the sump base. What's going on there?
