It took 1009 days from when I purchased the tank to day 1 of the cycle (life gets in the way doesn't it?). Pretty happy with it so far!

Are you going to finish and seal the inside of the stand/canopy? That's where it gets moist and will swell the wood, ruining your beautiful work.

Here's my JBJ 28G nano stand, design inspired by the stock JBJ stand. Made from maple and trimmed in wenge. Believe it or not, the front is the same piece of lumber resawn and edge glued, cannot explain the color difference. Does not look as pronounced in person as pic makes it. The door is held on with rare earth magnets, so it can be removed for servicing the bottom. All electrics are mounted inside.

yeah that's one of the things i still have left to do. I also still need to make some adjustments to the front doors on the canopy so i've got some reasons to take it back to the garage. thanks for the compliment!

this is high moisture resistant MDF done with a 2pac polyurethane finish, stainless look laminate kick board on a steel frame
