Wow there sure are some nice pieces around. How can I convince the wife of a needed upgarde from a 240 which is drilled thru the floor, so I can knock down a wall and use up more space that we don't have???

The kids really don't need to play do they?

Man, I love this picture threads, so many beautiful corals to see..:D

Just got top down box from melev and took some quick shots, this are not necessarily my favorite corals but they do have potential. First, a colony that I grew from a frag that I was able to save in the RTN event. It rebounded well and grew very quickly.

And this one is A.insignis that I think has great potential to be one of my favorites, but is way ahead from now.

And last one, A.tenuis that I know has bugs in it,lost most of its coloration but has great polyp extension.

Arthur,

Wow! How did you get all that blue out of it?
What lighting and placement is it under?

This coral never fails to amaze me, in how well it colors up under everything from VHOs to 400MH. It's always a different hue from Blue to red and every mixture of the two in between. Mostly forming purples. Along with my desalwii they are my favorite acro in my current collection.

Glad you liked it.

Rafael,

I was just joking about that ;) Mine is actually a wild colony from bali, that appears to have been growing on a vertical ledge. I have not given any frags out because it has been growing soooo slow. It started to STN a few months ago but appears to be making a wonderfull recovery, and the new growth is even brighter than before.

Here's a new coral I got that is quickly becoming my favorite. Not the best pic, but the growth pattern is awesome.
