Thanks Guys!!!
Great photos! I actually purchased the Louti that was on Divers Den. Its about 2 1/2 inches I would say and came in not stressed at all. Swimming around in the bag like he lived there forever. Just put him in the tank today. Hes the only inhabitant so far so I didnt QT, but he looks like a champ from the get go.
On a side note about groupers Ive had in the past....(and not sure where all our pics went from the photo gallery)
Ive had a super cool 12 inch Bumblebee grouper! He was AWESOME, I know they get too big for home aquariums, but he was way awesome.
Ive had a 10 inch Epinephelus merra, aka Honeycomb grouper that was possibly the best fish I ever had the pleasure of caring for in over 20 years in the hobby.
Ive had a Miniatus and a Blueline. As a noob way back in the day I also had a Panther grouper that did grow too big for the tank. By the way, I will not buy another of those, I cannot provide the needed space.
Pics of the Louti in a few days...
Im hoping to get another not-so-common grouper either of the Epinephelus or Cephalopholis family to add with this guy....
Keep the pics comming!!!
