Show me your interesting 'Birdsnests'!

Just like it says, I want to see your interesting birdsnest. I'm kind of a fan of the Seriatapora genus and would love to see any common, rare, exotic, and/or 'name brand' birdsnest you have.

That is one bushy Hystrix! Mine doesn't have nearly the PE that yours does. Definitely a nice one! Thanks for posting! :thumbsup:

Michael, most of the green brid's nest like the one from ORA is Seriatopora caliendrum. They have roundish tips. I have not yet see anything like the one I have.

Below, is the other one I have. It is pink with green hue and with purple polyps.

This is the Hystrix (I think ) that I have, or it's something very similar. The first one you showed had way more PE than I'm used to seeing on a S. Hystrix. Thanks again for posting!

That's a very bright pink!

Here is my pink with yellow tips. I haven't seen one like it. The tips are bright lemon yellow.

I saw one in the, for sale section ,that someone was trying to sell frags of. It had a real golden color to it, looked awesome. Now I don't know if it was just the lights in his/her tank or if the pic had been photo shopped, but it looked awesome.

Here is mine. I got it when it was about the size of a pencil eraser now its the size of a softball growing into a nice piece.Ill post a few pics to show you different T5 bulbs can change the color of the coral drastically cause it amazed me haha. Definitely my favorite coral even above my other sps.BTW kien i need a piece of that purple one amazing color!!
