Thanks Frank! Sure, I've read this article! It's in my favorite for a while! :D It's with it than I've ID my lion as a P. Mombasae before I buy it!

Hey! Come on everyone, show us your lionfish! I want to see more pics of these beauty!:inlove:

Here another lion I owned last years. I never convinced him to turn to frozen food and he finally died after 8 month... This one was a Dwarf zebra.

Fortunately for me, my new one (the devil lionfish) is a real little pig, he eat all I give to him!

I have a dwarf zebra lion like the one above. I've had him for a little over a month, and still haven't turned him to frozen food. However, I am breeding ghost shrimp and mollies which are gut loaded with marine foods before they are fed. Hopefully this will be enough incase he never eats frozen.

Did'nt have a pics of your new baby xhaust50? Really like to see him! Seriously, you really have to try to turn your lion to frozen food. Mollies are OK for a while but at long term, they could be fatal for your lion because they don't have the good rate of fat necessary for his good healt. This is exactly why I lost mine...(xcuse my bad english...I've a good understanding of it but I usually speack french...)

Hi!Hi! He's so cute!:) Does you have him since a long time? I've heard they are more difficult to turn to frozen food than other dwarf lion... Is it true?

Thank you! I've had him for only about 2 weeks. I was so happy to find one. He's happily eating PE mysis.

Fu Manchu's are a bit harder to get to eat prepared, but I was able to get one onto prepared without too much work.

I don't have a camera, but it's a clone of your pic. Recently he is becoming more active when I am feeding the puffer, so atleast he is heading in the right direction. Did you feed mollies? I am definitely feeding him about 80% ghost shrimp (which from the freshwater feeder page appeared to be most similar to saltwater inverts when they are fed marine foods). I will keep trying to bait him with frozen though.
