I'm starting up a reef tank, and LPS corals are what I'm looking to stock my tank with. I would like to see some full tank shots of your LPS tanks, so that I can get some stocking ideas and see what people are doing with LPS dominant tanks.
Your welcome!, 7 yrs. of LPS dominant tanks. And many that are incredibly beautiful. I have a mixed reef, myself, but am very close to ditching all the SPS and do strictly LPS and softies.
Yes I agree, I have mostly LPS, a few softies and SPS, but I sometimes feel like I'm steering my params towards keeping the stiff little SPS happy for no real reason.

Same here, ive had an sps only 80gal tank with colonies that went from 4" to 12" and unfortunately with a business trip left the tank with wife for THREE days and came back to an RTN fiesta. I also LOVE the blues LEDs bring, but was scared to try with my sps tank with so many issues out there...LPS on the other hand can be successfuly kept with leds and look super psychodelic...
I just started a tank with only high end favias, chalices and am very excited about it. I think LPS tanks allow the hobbyist to enjoy the corals more, without the constant attention and risks an SPS tank brings.
You come home, grab a cold beer, kick back and enjoy
