Show me your LPS dominated reeftanks!

Hey guys,
I'm new here but here is my 28 gallon nano LPS dominate. The pics are terrible, I used my phone.

Flow Rate

2 vortech MP40's, and two tunze nanostreams. Honeslty, my LPS seem "happier" with just one vortech on, but my fish and SPS love the flow, and it doesn't seem to hurt the LPS, since I have them all strategically placed with flow in mind, so I keep it all on full blast :D

My tank measures 60"L x 26"H x 18"W and I wonder if this is a 120 gallon or a 125 gallon? With the entire length having live rock about 3/5 of the way up from the bottom.

I have two Hydor Koralia 8s. One each six inches under the water and a few inches in from corners on the left side and right side of the tank. They are angled "very" slightly upward and towards the opposite back corners of the tank. The left back corner has the output tubes of both my Rena XP3 canister filters six inches under the water aimed horizontally across the tank at the front right corner.

This creates a very nice flow all around the tank with the upper part of the water having a strong flow with a very nice surface agitation which my Red rose bubble tip likes to sampe with the top of its tentacles just below the flow of the right Koralia. The lower two thirds has less flow although my anmones in the rocks along the bottom of the tank have a very nice "moderate" flow from what I suppose would be described as an "underflow" current from the koralias and XP4s.:fun4:

:

thats 121.6 gals according to the vol calculator on the home page

each of those k8's are delivering 3250 gph giving a flow of 6500 gph without the renas---that's some decent flow

Yes, thank you. The flow works well with the opposing Hydors aimed upward slightly. It keeps a nice undertow current without being too heavy for my five bubble tip anmones and one long tentacle. I plan on adding at least one more bubble tip. The fish like the upper current as well as the slower moderate bottom current and I think the current helps with filtration with live rock.
