Here are some blurry pics of my perc. I'm not sure if I'd call her a onxy but she's got allot of black. There is a 2 year gap between pictures.

nice clowns guys keep the pictures coming... blacks can go away with rbta/bta sometimes but it will come back if you remove the bta/rbta... and give it time...

I bought a 9 month old pair yesterday. The female is starting to develop her black coloration.

I'd like to open the discussion of what people are paying for these young onyx percs. I payed 15$ for mine from the breeder at a trade show. He told me the parents had allot of black but didn't sell it as a onyx. I'd pay good money for a adult proven onyx but wouldn't pay more than $35 for a juvenile. I've seen a breeder on another forum selling picassos that were nothing more than mild misbars. He was telling buyers not to worry, that the white middle stripes will develop over time.
