Live rock space is all occupied. I was thinking off mounting some frags to the back glass. Will they have a hard time encrusting onto the glass? Any other concerns besides blocking light for the corals below? What about any additional stresses on the glass?
IME they encrust glass but do not adhere much at all, so if you bump them or the mount they are on moves they fall off. You need to put them on a stable rock adjacent to glass to get the effect you are looking for probably.
I haven't done it with sps but I've put a couple of lps on the magnetic frag plugs. I've thought about attaching them to the back of the tank with some superglue but haven't tried that yet.
