Show Me Your Teeth!

WOW! Lovin these shots....good job everyone! I hope to be able to get some 'teeth shots' one day. You all have inspired me.

My Royal Gramma yawned largely tonight, but I didn't get the shot. I was hoping to finally add my own teeth shot.

Well if it makes you feel any better, that's your Royal Gramma I posted. :D

Yes, but it was taken by you, not me. I'd like to get a few amazing fish shots myself one day.

Here's more teeth, but not from a fish. :D

This is a Wavy Turban (Astrea Undosa) Snail, and he was gobbling up algae from the glass.

Best snail shot I've ever seen Marc, kudos!!!

How did you stop the motion? Did you flash it, ISO, or was it just kind enough not to move for 1/15 second or so? I always have trouble with those shots. But usually, because if the snail is eating then there's algae in my way! LOL

Travis, believe it or not, I timed it! :D i just added it to my tank, and it was "testing the waters' so to speak. And I thought, "Heck, I can get a teeth shot finally for that thread!"

And as I started to see the mouth open, I clicked the shutter and nailed it perfectly. 10 seconds later, it was done with the glass, sniffed the water, and parked in my zoanthids until the next day.

No flash, 400 ISO I believe, super macro of course.

How about posting some teeth photos?

Here is a Lawnmower Blenny for starters. The photo was photographed by me using my Nikon CoolPix 4500 at Jonas Karlsson's aquarium in Kalmar.
