I want to increase my filtration system. I am running a refug. But I would like to add a calcium and phosphate reactor as well as a canister filter to make the water crystal clear. I am also running a chiller. Any advice or photos of your systems would help immensly. Should I add another pump just for the chiller? Thanks

i bet you would rather have a protein skimmer..

canister filters are great for freshwater tanks but kind of an irritance in a reef because of how often they need cleaning.

Agreed, a skimmer would be a far better choice than any of those mentioned for filtration

I have a skimmer. How do I plumb a Phos and a Cal reactor? Any photos?

what kind of skimmer do you use? instead of the cal reactor, try just buying another phos reactor and adding carbon to it. the cal reactor might be a pain in the arse for you. trying to keep your ph levels intact would be tough without a controler or inuse with a kalk reactor. IMHO, if you don't have the intentions of doing sps right now, forget the cal reactor.
also, what kind of flow do you have in your display? this, i think plays a very important role when trying to keep your water nice and clear. for your 125, I think a couple Korilia 4s should do it. cheap if your on a budget.
