Has anyone noticed that their coco worms sort of change colors? The two crown things kind of dull and switch off or something, does anyone notice that?

I am so jealous of all these beautiful feather dusters! I had a feather duster last year. I woke up one morning to find my feather duster de-feathered and my anemone full of the feathers, spewing guts and definitely dead. With in a few days the duster died:(

Might have to try another duster or two after seeing all of these! Especially since I am anemone free for the time being.

What do you guys dose to the tank to feed these guys if you feed them specifically at all? Just wondering as I know they aren't photosynthetic.

oh and page 2 :P

Hawaiin Feather Duster Pic & Question

Hawaiin Feather Duster Pic & Question

I am a newbie with a three month old tank but I started with Live Rock that I bought from someone with a well established tank.

The parameters were all very stable so I bought a feather duster a few weeks ago. One day it disappeared into its tube and I thought maybe something was wrong. Next day it came out bigger and now a few days later it looks like there are two heads. Are there really two or does it just look that way? If there are two, what will happen next? Will one of them leave the tube or do they remain with two in one tube?
