I have the Z-1 ,dont use it but have it, decent camera for just taking snapshots but nothing fancy cool looks kinda a retro from an old German design.

Yea i dont get the full value of the fish. I think i can but i just have to find the right setting for it.

Here is my submissions for my fish. The white specks you see are specks on the glass. The pics were taken with my new Sony A700 before I knew what I was doing. I now have a better understanding of the camera and need to take some new pics.

I by no means would call myself a photographer yet. I have the equipment to take a good picture, now I have to develope the skill. Thanks for the compliment.

Same here. Definitely a newbie. Posted some pictures earlier in this thread.

I got a Canon Rebel XTI with EF100mm F2.8 Macro USM lens. Really happy with them.
I learned the only way to go is shooting in RAW format and adjust the WB etc. with software.
For this I started using Adobe Lightroom which is truly amazing.
