I'll start:

it started off approximately this size- (around 2004)

The larger (and older) efflo started out in a 75 gallon literally packed to the hilt with live rock and about 80 other smaller frags/colonies. After I gave it room to grow (culling the tank to about 30 colonies), it suddenly exploded in growth. It is currently and directly under a 250 watt halide with massive amounts of water flow powered by the loclines and the tunze 6100 behind it. This provides no settlement of detritus on top which negatively impacts its growth. Currently, the tank it is now housed in has been culled to only 15 colonies or so, and the liverock has been reduced to literally 30 lbs or so

Yes sir- correct. Although, the second one was supposed to be an efflo as well. I got that guy at 3 inches though. The top one started the size of a nickel-

Here was the old 75 gallon (it was about 2 inches then):

then I transferred most into a custom 90 (3 years later after transfer)

and culling the tank further to just recent (Jan 2010):

It's grown at least 1/2 inch around since I took this pic since the tank is now all his

Can't wait for you to finish the new tank merv, your frag of the purple efflo survived our tank crash and is going strong.

I think these are the correct dates. Had a period of no growth when the tank was neglected but growing well again.

Nice colonies! This is one of my Bird's Nest, sorry for the pics my camera is rubbish and in the second pic I took long before the lights come so the PE is a bit lacking.
