I want to go 2x400w 20K Radium and i am wondering how the color will turn out. Will it work for sps or do i need t5 or vhos supplement.

Please show me your MH ONLY tanks!

@ fractlimg, have you ever tried out the phoenix bulbs. I agree nice colors.

I use the Radium 400 on my 40 SPS and I am very happy with it. I am also using the phoenix 150 on a JBJ nano and it's soso. The phoenix has good color but slow to grow. But it is a 150.

My 40B with 250w. Pic taken with a 14K Phoenix. I am now using a 20k Oddysea bulb and believe it or not my sps are showing better colors and maintaining growth.

I need to take an updated FTS with the new bulb and more sps.

No need for supplementation in my opinion if you're using the right MH bulb.
