IMHO the best adhesive for bonding PVC FB would be Weld On #10 or #40
Weld-On PVC Glue Water thin, very fast-setting solvent cement for bonding PVC, foamed PVC (Komatex, Komacel, Sintra, Celtec) and Kydex to themselves
and to each other.
Weld On solvent cements Like #3 and #4 are not recommended for PVC
According to some manufactures depending on type of board PVC cement will work for PVC Foam Board. i.e. gluing the joint.( go by what the manufactures recommend for adhesives)
IPS Weld-On #2007, Vinyl CEMENT, is a water-thin, very fast setting solvent cement for bonding PVC, Foamed PVC and Kydex to themselves and to each other.
IPS Weld-On #10 Two part, High-strength structural adhesive for bonding PVC, acrylic, styrene, ABS and polycarbonate. Also bonds well to steel, non-anodized aluminum, etc.
IPS Weld-On #40 Is especially formulated to bond extruded, cast, and cross linked acrylic sheets. It will also bond acrylic to polyester, butyrate, polycarbonate, PVC and other materials.
I would think Weld-On 2007 would be the best as it specifically mentions foamed PVC. Also looks like #10 and #40 may work since they mention PVC. Although I think the PVC being mentioned here is solid sheet and tube PVC. You could always contact IPS and ask for recommendation.
